The Art of Tennis

During Open week, The Ray Hotel becomes a destination for art, sport, and culture with The Art of Tennis, a curated exhibition by contemporary sports artist Ted Dimond.

Dimond is internationally recognized for his dynamic paintings that capture iconic athletes and defining moments in sport. Founder of Dimond Gallery, his work has been showcased at all four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, The Masters, the Kentucky Derby, and other world-class sporting events. Known for unveiling portraits live with athletes in attendance, Dimond creates cultural moments that resonate with fans, collectors, and media alike.

Running February 16–25, the exhibition features a collection of original tennis paintings celebrating the artistry, intensity, and legacy of the game. The highlight of the week is the Opening Player Parties, taking place Monday, February 16 and Tuesday, February 17 from 6–9 PM in Ella Lobby Bar & Lounge, where Dimond will unveil his signature Open paintings of players and tennis legends (players to be announced).

Blending fine art, professional tennis, and that signature Open energy, Delray Art at the Open transforms The Ray Hotel into a cultural hub during tournament week inviting tennis fans, hotel guests, collectors, and the Delray Beach community to experience the Open from a new perspective.
